We have a rolling duffel, backpack and backpack diaper bag with all of our belongings for the next several months. We are still using our cloth gDiapers for Alex and are planning to be as eco-friendly as we can be. I am sure this will be an experience in itself!
From Denver we stayed in NY for two nights for our first CouchSurfing experience! It was a lot of fun meeting Julia, who is our age and is a social worker. She is going to be an Aunt soon so she really enjoyed having Alex around. While we were in NY we went to the Museum of Natural History. We learned a little secret that admission is actually donation based which was nice to our pocket book! We had yummy cupcakes from Make My Cake. All in all our three-day/two-night stay in NY was under $150 (and we even went our to Patsys for some original NY brick oven pizza)!
Our airplane, train and ferry rides have been really good. Alex is a super traveler (he sleeps a lot like his mom ...used to). Traveling with Alex has been a totally new and positive experience. We get comments from people all of the time about how good he is and how cute (and handsome) he is. It is fun connecting with people on a different level.
Here is Alex crawling around at the station while we were waiting for the ferry. We started at 6:30am this day and arrived in Paignton, England around 7:00pm. Again, our little guy rocked!!
With that cute picture I am going to sign off for the moment. I am already getting better at the blogging thing. Next, our adventures in Devon with our friend Emma!
Love to you all!
