Ciao! Two months of travel and we are in Italy!

The 17th of April marked two months of travel for us. Looking back it seems like we just left yesterday, yet have been gone for much longer. My blogging has been minimal. I would like to blame it on lack of internet and the truth is I have not been taking time to sit and write. (This is one of the items on my "take time for Jamie" list that I have not taken time for...that is a whole different blog.)

For the past three weeks we have been enjoying much that Italy has to offer. We started our Italian adventure in Milan with the intention of visiting Cinque Terre, five beautiful villages connected by amazing landscape along the Mediterranean coast. We spent a relaxing week walking along the coast, where the views are spectacular and the exercise even better!

Ben has managed to find every gelato shop and test the flavors. After Cinque Terre we went to Venice and then to Lake Como via Pisa. Lake Como is a beautiful lake with the Alps in the background. Although we didn't see George Clooney (who owns a villa there) we enjoyed taking in the scenery and plan to go back in the future.

As I write this we are back in Milan getting ready for our flight to Madrid, Spain tomorrow. We will be in Spain for a few days and then are heading back to the good old U.S. of A where we can get a proper cheeseburger! While this portion of our trip is over we are going to continue to travel and I will make it a point to share my amazing insights!
