Happy Alex and Family

I said I was going to Blog more and I haven't...something I get to work on.

You probably know that we (The Winter Family) are back in Denver. We have been settling into our new apartment for close to a month now and are enjoying living in Stapleton. We can walk to everything we need and there is even a Car Share across the street!

My goal is to get the rest of our Europe pictures up by the end of June. In the meantime I thought you would like to see some pictures of Alex. His 10 month birthday was this week and he is an amazing 'lil man!

Alex loves riding on and pushing the little car that Great Grandma Ulmer gave him for Christmas! He is always so proud when he walks a few feet and would probably go a lot faster if one of us didn't have our hand on the front.

He continues to amaze us by using the toilet! We even bought him some Toy Story toddler underwear and have been testing them out during the day and at night. He has worn them two nights and 100% dry undies in the am! Sometimes we have to get up to take him pee (usually when I have to go too) although last night he held it all night and went in the toilet this morning.

Alex loves to eat! His favorite is beans and rice and bananas. He also loves Quinoa porridge and the pesto that I make. Most of the time he wants to use the spoon or eat with his hands, sometimes he likes us to help (usually when he wants more than he can get on the spoon). We typically all eat the same thing and it is so easy! No worries about baby food or if he will eat it! We test new things all of the time - eggplant, butternut squash, yogurt pops. I know it is a culinary adventure for me too.

Here he is at Jazz in City Park on Sunday munching on an organic Strawberry and with his dad Memorial Weekend eating a rice cake (with broccoli remnants on his face).

We spent time in Pat and Mandell's back yard on Memorial Day! Our good friends Brian, Christy and Sage joined us! The boys had a fun time romping around naked!

Alex has never taken to crawling on his knees, he likes to Spidy Walk on all fours! His balance is getting better and he has started to practice standing up on his own. It is a lot of fun to watch!

Alex is enjoying walking with his dad!

Here is Alex, enjoying yogurt for breakfast. I fondly call him yogurt beard during this time. He is sporting his new Buzz Lightyear underwear! Speaking of breakfast....
